Marissa Rodriguez is a Houston-based multidisciplinary contemporary artists, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Studio Art from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. Her style emphasizes the relationship between an obsession with dark fantasy subject matter and her slightly grim disposition. Pulling influences from overwhelming negative emotions and the atrocities create this response. She uses a multitude of different mediums like graphite, charcoal, oil, water color, clay, print, mixed media, and college to convey her mental insight and perception of her surrounding world with detailed line work and luring colors.
